Dubbed Out Festival is a relative newcomer to the festival scene, having achieved remarkable success in 2022, prompting the need for a larger venue for its summer 2023 edition.
Due to its continued popularity, Dubbed Out Festival is set to make a triumphant return to The Royal Cheshire Showground for the summer of 2025.
This year we’re expecting family festival vibes with big top tents, live bands, top DJ’s, fine food, bars, stalls and more.

An authentic VW festival in every aspect, radiating a lively and enjoyable ambiance that embodies the true spirit of VW and campervan culture.
Recognised as Europe’s largest VW Show, this event seamlessly blends a fun selection of VW experiences, both on and off the track. This is a motorhead’s dream.
Bug Jam features multiple music arenas, including the Main Stage, Dance Tent, BugWam, and Fuelers Bar.

Dinky Dubs Fest, Druridge Bay Country Park, Northumberland – Friday 25th / Saturday 26th / Sunday 27th July 2025
Sister festival to Mighty Dub Fest, set in the beautiful grounds of one of the country’s best country parks, you can expect a chilled-out weekend in a fantastic country park, a stunning lake and a short walk to the beach, what’s not to love!
There’ll be some great bands playing throughout the Friday and Saturday evening and you can even use the lake for water sports activities like Paddle boarding or kayaking.
Dubs South Campout, North Boarhunt, Hampshire – Friday 25th / Saturday 26th / Sunday 27th July 2025
This is a chilled out, family-friendly VW rally near Bishops Waltham in Hampshire. During the day, there’s a bouncy castle for the kids and live music for dancing at night.
There’s a campout hangout and cosy spots to relax and chat in the sun, in your camper, or under the stars. Also, free movie nights on Friday and Saturday, so bring a chair and a blanket. And don’t miss the silent disco every evening!

A picturesque Scottish gathering overlooking Loch Ness that celebrates VW culture with scenic views, good company, and classic vehicles.
There’ll be show’n’shine, drumming workshops, and plenty of opportunity to soak up the community vibe.
VW Festival, Harewood House, Leeds – Friday 8th / Saturday 9th / Sunday 10th August 2025
The VW Festival isn’t just about VW’s, you know? There’s something for everyone at the VW Festival, no matter your age or interests. It’s a weekend of fun for the whole fam.
This year, they’ve got live bands, a raffle for a beetle (true story: you could win one!), and, of course, a Show & Shine – bound to feature some of the best campers in the UK.
With a ‘Back to the ’90s Party’ and fancy dress, there’s plenty to keep you going all weekend long. We can’t wait!
Vdub at the Pub, Wimborne, Dorset – Friday 15th / Saturday 16th / Sunday 17th August 2025
Vdub at the Pub is all about celebrating Dorset, dubs, and the outdoors.
The music is top-notch (no cover bands here) and loads of cool stuff – including a dodgeball tournament, a vintage bike ride, kayaking, mini steam engines, and a creative area for kids.
On Sunday, you can check out the VW show, and there’s also awesome food and market stalls all weekend.
Where does the ‘pub’ come into it? The beer tent is the ‘pub’! It’ll be serving up local ales, Dorset fruit ciders, and some tasty summer cocktails… all by the river in Wimborne Minster.

Volkfest Wales, Watton Show Fields, Brecon – Friday 15th / Saturday 16th / Sunday 17th August 2025
One of the longest running shows and festivals in our guide, this is a popular event in any VW enthusiast’s calendar.
Friday starts in earnest with trade area, catering, bar and live music.
Saturday brings the exciting Crawl To The Hills cruise, Volksfest Knockout, auto jumble, vehicles for sale, and free circus skills workshops. There’ll be fair rides, a free kids’ tea party, live music, and a dazzling displays. Saturday night transforms into a fancy dress extravaganza.

Field of Dreams Aircooled VW Show, Escrick Park Estate, York – Friday 29th / Saturday 30th / Sunday 31st August 2025
Set in the stunning surroundings of the Escrick Park Estate, the Field of Dreams Aircooled VW Show is a celebration of vintage air-cooled Volkswagens.

Busfest is the concorde of VW Transporter festivals and is widely regarded as the world’s largest!
The event offers an exhilarating program, featuring an array of attractions such as tradestands, vehicle sales, a funfair, children’s entertainers, and live music across five stages.
The stunt show is a big pull, as are the Syncro Trail and Syncro Obstacle Course.
With a huge helping of fun factor, Busfest guarantees an unforgettable celebration for VW enthusiasts and vanlife aficionados, solidifying its reputation as the premier event in the global Transporter festival circuit.
Dubs @ The Castle Campout, Weobley Castle, Swansea, Friday 19th / Saturday 20th / Sunday 21st September 2025
A more intimate version of the main festival, this campout combines relaxed vibes with plenty of VW love.
Hosted at a beautiful location with amazing views over the marshlands, there’ll be live bands playing throughout the weekend, acoustic sets and a small selection of traders, foodstalls and a licensed bar.
Also, you can sell your auto jumble for free from where you camp!
VDubs in the Valley, Shropshire – Friday 19th / Saturday 20th / Sunday 21st September 2025
VDubs in the Valley, a family-friendly VW Show in Shropshire, is marking its 11th anniversary with a vibrant ‘under the sea’ theme—so get ready to dress to impress!
The event deliberately maintains a small size to preserve its welcoming VW atmosphere. There’ll be family-friendly entertainment, live bands – with music from the 80s, 90s, and 00s – and the standard Show & Shine competition, ensuring a delightful celebration of all things VW in a warm and friendly setting.

Oktoberfest, River Dart Country Park, Devon, Friday 3rd / Saturday 4th / Sunday 5th October 2025
This event promises a totally unique and memorable end to the festival season – in fact, it’s not a ‘show’ or ‘festival’ at all, it’s a way to catch up with old friends before going into hibernation for the winter.
The event promises two great nights of entertainment. Friday night is ‘Oktoberfest’ – a Bavarian themed knees up! The theme for Saturday will be Ok-TOGA-fest. Togas, Romans, Ancient Greece, Gladiators.
The daytime brings a whole host of competitions and fun & games for you to enjoy too, including Show & Shine Sunday, Scavenger Hunt and Treasure Hunt, Pub Quiz, Campsite Awards, and a Circus Workshop.
