Van Life Gatherings On Pause for 2025

As the festival season unfolds, some beloved favourites have announced a temporary pause for 2025, with hopeful plans to make a triumphant return to the line-up in 2026. These include:

Camp Quirky, Kelmarsh Estate, Northamptonshire – NOT GOING AHEAD

Sad times: Camp Quirky used to be one of the most popular events on the van life calendar, but it won’t be taking place this year.

Over 3,000 people and 600 dogs attended Camp Quirky 2023 but in 2024 they decided to ‘take a fallow year to closely observe how other festivals are managing during these incredibly challenging times for the events industry’. They wanted to ‘reevaluate what sort of event would best serve the community’….

It seems like they didn’t uncover any secrets, because the festival is on-hold for 2025, too.

Urban Vanfest, Location N/K

This event due to take place in 2024, and has apparently been postponed to 2025, but at the time of writing, the website is down and no dates have been announced.

Cranium Cookout, Location N/K

At the time of writing (December 2024), no 2025 dates have been announced for Cranium Campout.

That’s All Folks!

From the iconic classics to the vibrant newcomers, 2025 is going to be a big year for van life festivals in the UK. While some favourites are taking a brief hiatus this year, the promise of their return in 2026 adds an extra layer of excitement for the future. Until then, let’s live our best van life, one festival at a time!

If we’ve missed any 2025 van life gatherings from our guide, please let us know! Or, if you’re planning to be one of 2026’s biggest newcomers – tell us all about it!
